Einleitung
Routinemäßige Gesundheitsberichterstattung (GBE) eröffnet dem öffentlichen Gesundheitsdienst Steuerungspotentiale auf kommunaler Ebene. GBE dient der Bedarfsermittlung im Bereich der Bevölkerungsgesundheit und der Überprüfung von Effekten komplexer Interventionen. Als Steuerungsinstrument ist sie insbesondere dann wirksam, wenn sie mit sektorübergreifender Planung und kommunalen Gesundheitskonferenzen kombiniert wird.
Summary
Routine public health monitoring and reporting activities, performed by local health authorities, are crucial governmental capacities. They are essential elements for evidence-based community health needs assessments and quality assurance of community-based interventions. Public health monitoring and reporting are most effective when combined with cross-sectoral planning approaches and local health conferences acting as steering groups.
