Homogeneous Nilmanifolds of Dimensions 3 and 4

Abstract

A homogeneous nilmanifold is a nilpotent Lie group endowed with a left-invariant metric. In the present work we classify up to isometry the homogeneous nilmanifolds of dimension 3 and 4 and we compute the corresponding isometry groups.
