Abstract
A kinetic study of the hydrolysis of sucrose by solid catalysts has been carried out using a polarimetric technique. V2O5/γ-Al2O3 was selected as appropriate catalyst. At the optimum conditions the activation parameters have been evaluated using the Arrhenius and Eyring plots.
