Numerical Modeling of Solitons in a Low Birefringent Optical Fiber

Abstract

A numerical investigation, based on the split-step Fourier transform algorithm of all optical switching of solitons in a low birefringent optical fiber is presented. The numerical algorithm is described in detail.
