Abstract
Two compounds of this series, (C2H5O)2SiF2 and (C2H5O)3SiF, were recently described by Peppard, Brown and Johnson1. I wish to point out that I had previously prepared and characterized2 the three compounds (C2H5O)SiF3, (C2H5O)2SiF2 and (C2H5O)3SiF. The publication of this work has been prevented by war conditions; but a paper is now in preparation.
