Thorium Determination in Deep-Sea Sediments

Abstract

A METHOD for direct measurement of ionium (thorium-230) has been described in a previous communication1. Ionium was measured in samples of red clay from the Central Pacific Ocean raised by the Swedish Deep-Sea Expedition (1947–48).
