Nucleotide Sequence of N-Formyl-methionyl-transfer RNA

Abstract

N-Formyl-methionyl-transfer RNA is thought to be the chain-initiating tRNA of protein synthesis in bacterial systems. The complete nucleotide sequence of this tRNA from Escherichia coli has now been worked out.
