Abstract
LASER radar techniques have recently been developed for the precise observation of various properties of atmospheric phenomena, relevant for both practical and research purposes1–4. We describe here a novel concept and technique, which may be called a laser-Raman radar system, which is suitable as an air pollution probe in real time.
