FSH Stimulation of Testicular Androgen Binding Protein

Abstract

Studies on the hormonal regulation of male fertility have strongly indicated that testicular androgen is essential for the completion of spermatogenesis in the seminiferous tubules1 and for the acquisition of fertilising capacity of sperm in the epididymis2, 3. To influence these processes, androgen must be transported from its site of origin in the testis and accumulated at its sites of action.
