Synthesis and reactions of molybdenocene dimers: X-ray crystal structure of the salt [{(η-C5H5)Mo}2(µ-OH)(µ-H){µ-(η5-C5H4-η5-C5H4)}]2PF6·½H2O

Abstract

The compounds [{(η-C5H5)MoH[µ-(η1):η5-C5H4]}2](two isomers), [{(η-C5H5)MoH}2{µ-(η5-C5H4-η5-C5H4)}], [{(η-C5H5)MoH}2(µ-H){µ-(η5-C5H4-η5-C5H4)]PF6, [{(η-C5H5)MoI}2[µ-(η5-C5H4-η5-C5H4)]}] and [{(η-C5H5)Mo}2(µ-OH)(µ-H){µ-(η5-C5H4-η5-C5H4)}]2PF6 are described, and the X-ray crystal structure of the last of these is reported.
