Raman spectrum of carbon monoxide on a platinum electrode surface

Abstract

The Raman spectrum of CO adsorbed on a platinized platinum electrode surface exhibited a weak line at 2096 cm–1 and a broader feature centred at ca. 2081 cm–1; these features have been interpreted in terms of terminal surface –C[triple bond, length half m-dash]O groupings.
