Reduction of 9-diazofluorene at a platinum cathode: a Re-examination

Abstract

Low temperature cyclic voltammetry shows that the reduction of 9-diazofluorene at a platinum cathode to give fluorenone azine probably does not involve the intermediate formation of a carbene radical anion.
