Preparation of non-isocyanate polyurethanes from epoxy soybean oil: dual dynamic networks to realize self-healing and reprocessing under mild conditions

Abstract

Non-isocyanate polyurethanes prepared using cyclic carbonates derived from epoxy soybean oil and CO2 can exhibit the reprocessing ability and facilitate the realization of carbon neutrality, but the relatively high temperature required for the reprocessing is not conducive to application. In this work, a NIPU with a dual dynamic network was designed to achieve reprocessing and self-healing under mild conditions.
