Solid-phase synthesis of homodimeric peptides: preparation of covalently-linked dimers of amyloid β peptide

Abstract

Covalently cross-linked homodimeric Aβ peptides have been prepared by solid-phase peptide synthesis by exploiting ‘site–site interactions’, and exhibit substantially increased oligomerisation and fibrillisation properties compared with the corresponding monomers.
