Coronary fistulae are rare anomalies that present in both children and adults. The majority are congenital in origin and require intervention to treat or prevent complications. While transcatheter closure of coronary fistula is possible, surgical management can be performed with low mortality and morbidity. A number of surgical techniques exist including epicardial closure, endocardial closure, and transcoronary closure of the fistula with or without the use of cardiopulmonary bypass. Herein we describe the surgical techniques of coronary fistula repair.
