Reviews

“This book consists of 15 essays published by the author during the last 40 years … . It can be said straightaway that this volume gives an extended and very positive overview of Antony Thirlwall’s contribution to economics throughout his long career. … Thirlwall’s volume showcases the qualities an economist should today combine: a first-hand knowledge of the eminent figures who preceded us, a firm grasp of the analytical apparatus, combined with a skilful appraisal of policy concerns.” (Sylvie Rivot, The European Journal of the History of Economic, Vol. 24 (1), January, 2017)
