*Franklin R Root is Professor of International Business and Management and Director of International Management Programs at The Wharton School Professor Root has lectured in several countries in the fields of international business and economics; has served on the faculties of the University of Maryland, the Copenhagen School of Economics and Business Administration, and the Naval War College; and has consulted for business and government agencies. His latest books are Foreign Market Entry and International Trade and investment. Professor Root is a past President of The Academy of International Business.
