This article represents the AIB Presidential Address given at the annual meeting in Toronto, December, 1972. It notes certain developments affecting education for international business and considers some possible responses to them.

*Since December 28, 1972, the date of Professor Terpstra's Presidential Address the name of the organization has changed from AEIB (Association for Education in International Business) to AIB (Academy of International Business). Professor Terpstra is a member of the faculty of the Business School of the University of Michigan.
