Abstract
This discussion will be concerned with the general problem of enhanced radiation losses from a hydrogen plasma containing a small percentage, particle-wise, of high Z impurities. Because the intrinsic radiation rate per atom from impurities can be many orders of magnitude greater than the Bremsstrahlung radiation from ionized hydrogen, even a small fractional impurity content can greatly increase the total escaping radiation flux.
