Abstract

The photoacoustic technique is used to investigate the thermal diffusivity of GexTe1x glasses as a function of composition. The observed dependence on the composition is explained on the basis of the chemically ordered network model. This interpretation is further supported by x-ray and electrical resistivity measurements.
