Abstract
The class of anisotropic and inhomogeneous cosmological solutions of the Einstein field equations with a perfect fluid source obeying an equation of state p=γρ, 0<γ<eq1, which was presented by Wainwright and Goode, is extended to the case γ=-1. At about the grand-unified-theory time, sec, this cosmological model evolves exponentially toward the isotropic, homogeneous, and spatially flat de Sitter universe model. The expansion anisotropy decreases by a factor of and the curvature inhomogeneity by a factor during the Guth inflationary era.
