Wormholes in the Brans-Dicke theory of gravitation

Abstract

It is shown that the static spherically symmetric solutions to the Brans-Dicke theory of gravitation give rise either to a naked singularity if the post Newtonian parameter γ<1 or to a wormhole if γ>1.
