Abstract
The angular variations of the and quasielastic scattering processes at MeV are investigated. It is shown that the data are incompatible with the simple impulse approximation and with models which include final-state interaction corrections to the simple impulse approximation. The behavior of the ratio of the and cross sections as a function of angle cannot be explained in terms of any simple model.
