Monte Carlo Calculation of Argon Clusters in Homogeneous Nucleation

Abstract

Monte Carlo calculations of the free energy of argon clusters are presented. The resulting homogeneous nulceation rates are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data over a wide range of pressures (104 atm<p<2×101 atm) and temperatures (25°K<T<60°K) at the onset of condensation.
