Abstract

We report an analysis of the Λb0Λc+ππ+π decay in a data sample collected by the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron corresponding to 2.4fb1 of integrated luminosity. We reconstruct the currently largest samples of the decay modes Λb0Λc(2595)+π (with Λc(2595)+Λc+π+π), Λb0Λc(2625)+π (with Λc(2625)+Λc+π+π), Λb0Σc(2455)++ππ (with Σc(2455)++Λc+π+), and Λb0Σc(2455)0π+π (with Σc(2455)0Λc+π) and measure the branching fractions relative to the Λb0Λc+π branching fraction. We measure the ratio B(Λb0Λc+ππ+π)/B(Λb0Λc+π)=3.04±0.33(stat)0.55+0.70(syst) which is used to derive B(Λb0Λc+ππ+π)=(26.811.2+11.9)×103.
