Abstract
This paper deals with the study of the process of electron exchange between a negative hydrogen ion and a cluster of aluminum atoms. The method of wave packet propagation not using perturbation theory is applied to solve the problem. It is shown that the quantum size effect exists during the electron exchange between a negative hydrogen ion and an atomic cluster.
