Reaction between Pyrocatechol and N,N,N',N'-Tetraethylphenylphosphonous Diamide

Abstract

The reaction between pyrocatechol and N,N,N',N'-tetraethylphenylphosphonous diamide was studied. It was found that the main reaction products are bisphosphorylated pyrocatehol and and the product of intramolecular cyclization, ester of pyrocatechol and phenylphosphonic acid.
