  105. Aromatic molecules can interact with the walls or surfaces of a confining medium. The idea that the resulting packing of the aromatic molecules at the surface may lead to slowing of the dynamics and an increase in Tg when the confinement is not soft is attributed to S.L. Simon of Texas Tech University.
