Optimizing resources in cloud, a SOA governance view

Published:07 December 2010Publication History

ABSTRACT

This position paper proposes a governance model for efficient power and computing resources usage in cloud computing environments. We show how optimization of resource allocation can achieve substantial cost reduction. Then we show the governance that needs to be in place and the steps that ensure an efficient optimization.
