Abstract
In this paper AODVjr, a simplified version of the AODV protocol, is described. AODVjr is compared in simulation to a full featured AODV implementation. The results show that AODVjr performs as well as AODV and describes other positive effects of a smaller protocol specification.

MA-AODV: Mobility Aware Routing Protocols for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
ICSNC '09: Proceedings of the 2009 Fourth International Conference on Systems and Networks CommunicationsA Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that communicate and collaborate with each other without reliance on any pre-existing infrastructure. In MANETs, wireless links are subject to frequent breakages due to nodes high mobility. ...
Irresponsible AODV routing
Broadcasting is a common transmission strategy used by several ad-hoc routing protocols in order to solve many issues, such as finding a route to a new host or sending control messages to all nodes in the network. Flooding is the simplest technique to ...
Comparing AODV and N-AODV Routing Protocols for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks
MoMM 2015: Proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Advances in Mobile Computing and MultimediaMobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) are wireless networks designed for communications among nomadic hosts in absence of fixed infrastructure. Different reactive protocols for MANETs, in which routes are established only when needed, provide different ...
