Abstract

Castellares, Lemonte, and Santos [Brazilian Journal of Probability and Statistics 34(1) (2020) 90–111] introduced a two-parameter discrete Nielsen distribution, derived its properties, and illustrated the advantages of the model in three data applications. In this note, we will present a corrected version for some results for the particular case θ=1.
