A Dual-Infrared-Transmitter Optical Wireless Based Indoor User Localization System with High Accuracy

Abstract

A dual-infrared-transmitter optical wireless based indoor localization system with background light power estimation capability is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Results show that the proposed system can attain an average localization accuracy of around 3.2 cm.
