Abstract

A space-time coded reconfigurable free-space card-to-card optical interconnects architecture is proposed and demonstrated. Experimental results show that by using 2×2 space-time coding, the interconnection range can be extended to 77 cm at 10 Gb/s with negligible inter-channel crosstalk.
