Food allergy and atopic dermatitis in children. Is there any correlation?

The study involved 33 patients with edematous form of acute pancreatitis and 32 - with destructive form of acute pancreatitis, of whom 19 developed purulent necrotic complications. Increase in serum IgE greater than 150 IU / ml was observed in 44.6% of cases. In patients with acute pancreatitis the presence of IgE association was found to increase at a greater frequency of destructive forms (p=0,017) and purulent necrotic complications (p=0,0029).
