Role of intestinal microflora in the regulation of immune response in rheumatoid arthritis

The article reviews the literature data on the regulatory role of intestinal microflora in maintaining the balance of immune homeostasis, participation in modulation of innate and acquired immune response, the onset and progression of rheumatoid arthritis.
