Das Mikrowellenspektrum des N-Methylpyrrols und des D₃-N-Methylpyrrols wurde untersucht, um das niedrige Hinderungspotential der internen Rotation der Methylgruppe zu bestimmen. Mit dem Spektrum sind jeweils zwei unterschiedliche Sätze von Potentialparametern V₆ und V₁₂ verträglich. Ferner wurden das Dipolmoment und die Quadrupolkopplungskonstanten bestimmt.
