지식기반 경제는 단순 데이터가 아닌 지식과 아이디어가 경제활동의 핵심으로 작용하여 지식이 경제성장을 주도하는 것을 의미한다. 지식과 정보의 생산, 분배, 사용에 직접적으로 기반하고 있는 경제(OECD)인 것이다. 지식, 기술 등이 중요하게 부각되며, 가치창출의 전 단계에서 지식이 활용되며, 인적자본의 양과 질이 기업과 국가의 경쟁력을 좌우한다.
본 연구는 제조기반 지식서비스산업 혁신역량 강화방안에 관한 연구를 통하여 제조업중심의 지식서비스산업의 혁신역량 강화방안에 대하여 대안을 제시하였다. 대안제시를 통하여 장단기 발전방안 수립을 기초적인 차원에서 연구하였다. 본 제조기반의 지식서비스산업의 도입은 현재의 제조기반에 고부가가치를 제공하고 수출증대, 고용창출 등 경제성장의 기반이 될 것이다.
In the knowledge-based economy, knowledge and idea, but not data, play a key role of economic activities to lead an economic growth. It is the economy(OECD) directly based on production, distribution and use of knowledge and information. Knowledge and technology are significantly standing out and knowledge is used for the whole steps of value creation. In addition, the quantity and quality of human capital determines the competitiveness of companies and countries. This study suggests an alternative of the innovation capability strengthening plan for manufacturing-oriented knowledge service industries through the study on the innovation capability strengthening plan for manufacture-based knowledge service industries. Along with suggesting an alternative, we studied to establish short-and long-term development plans at a basic level. The introduction of manufacture-based knowledge service industries will provide a higher value-added business to the current manufacture-based industry and be the foundation for an economic growth, such as increase in export and creation of jobs.
