본 연구는 어머니의 양육태도 및 유아의 기질이 유아 리더십에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써 최근 사회적으로 강조되고 있는 유아기의 리더십에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 개인의 기질적 요인들과의 관련성을 밝히고 바람직한 가정에서의 양육태도에 대해 알아봄으로써 유아의 리더십 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공함을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 G시에 소재한 9개 유아교육기관의 157명의 어머니와 유아를 담당하는 교사를 대상으로 어머니의 양육태도, 유아 기질, 유아 리더십에 대해 조사하였으며, 본 연구의 연구문제를 중심으로 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 ‘억압형’ 양육태도가 리더십과 부적인 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 유아 기질의 ‘적응성’이 정적 상관을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 ‘억압형’ 양육태도가 유아 리더십의 도전과 자신감, 타인 존중, 자기행동 관리, 문제해결력이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 기질의 ‘적응성’이 리더십의 하위요소인 ‘도전과 자신감’, ‘문제해결력’, ‘리더십 총점’에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 기질 중 유아 기질의 ‘적응성’이 가장 많은 영향을 미치며 그 다음으로는 어머니의 ‘억압형’ 양육태도가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study is to explore effects of preschool children's leadership on mother's rearing attitude and preschool children's temperament, Recently preschool children's leadership that socially has been emphasized showed some connection between individual's temperament factors and preschool children's leadership, rearing attitude of desirable family. This study will provide basic data for the effect of preschool children's leadership. Participants were 157 mothers and preschool teachers who were in charge of preschool children. They responded to questionnairs of leadership and all of them were used to check mother's rearing attitude, preschool children's temperament and preschool children's leadership. Statistical analyses using PASW ver.18.0 were conducted to determine descriptive statistics, correlation, simplicity regression and multiple-regression. Results came out as follows:First, mother's rearing attitude showed a significantly negative relationship about "oppression style" of mother's rearing attitude and about "adaptation" of preschool children‘s temperament. Second, "oppression style" of mother's rearing attitude was a significant factor on challenge of preschool children's leadership, self-confidence, respect of others, control of self-behavior and problem solution of preschool children's. Third, "adaptation" of preschool children‘s temperament was a significant factor on lower grades of leadership, which is "challenge&self- confidence", "problem solution of preschool children's" and "total score of leadership". Finally, "adaptation" of preschool children‘s temperament was the most significant factor of all things among mother's rearing attitude and preschool children‘s temperament followed by "oppression style" of mother's rearing attitude.
