본 연구는 현재 고령화 사회로 세대전환이 급변함에 따라 노년층 인구가 증가할 것에 따른 현 노인주거환경 실태를 조사하여 초고령화 사회 노인주거환경을 대비할 수 있는 방안을 마련하기 위해 1차적 초석을 마련하고자 진행되었다. 본 연구는 65세 이상의 노인 50명을 대상으로 니즈를 추출하여, 개선 방안을 제안하는 연구이다. 연구 방법으로는 ADL( Activities of Daily Living)과 IADL(Instrumental Activities of Daily Living)을 바탕으로 구성된 설문을 조사 하였다. 설문의 형태는 방문 1:1 설문조사 및 인터뷰를 통해 실시하였다. 분석한 내용을 통해 노인 주거환경 부엌, 욕실, 침실 및 거실의 구조·생활용품·시스템으로 각각 나누어 노인 주거환경을 제안하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부엌의 경우 노인의 신체적 반응을 고려한 바닥재와 공간인지가 가능한 구조, 그리고 노인성 질환을 대비한 가구의 넓이 높이가 고려되어야 한다. 생활용품은 악력을 고려한 적절한 무게로 구성되어야 하며, 노인의 기억력 저하 및 시력 저하를 고려한 안전구조와 조명시스템으로 구성되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 욕실은 노인에게 가장 위험한 공간이 될 수 있으므로 무엇보다 안전성이 강조되어야 한다. 그리고 특히, 노인성 질환을 고려한 가구의 높이·넓이가 고려되어야한다. 노인은 잦은 어지럼증이 발생할 수 있음에 따라 안전바를 설치하여 노인의 편리를 도모해야 한다. 셋째, 거실은 각방과의 접근이 용의해야하며, 청각·시각저하를 고려한 안전시스템 설비가 마련되어야 한다. 따라서 본 내용조사는 1차적 실태조사를 위한 연구로서 보다 발전된 실질 노인 인지 사용성 테스트를 진행해야 한다.
This study is to improve the quality of life from the elderly's needs after researching the complaints of their current residential environment for a post-aged society of Korea. As the middle-aged population who promoted the economical development in Korea gets older and the elderly population is expected to increase, this study was processed to make a foundation for their housing environment. It suggests the remedy for the present elderly's residential environment by the analysis table which was made on the basis of thier dissatisfaction of current residence from surveys and depth interviews of 50 old-people and estimated analysis of needs based on this result. Therefore it reconstructed elderly housing environment by structure, product and system divisions kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room. The result likes next First, in case of kitchen may consider elderly body reaction and awareness of space and material of floor and furniture also needs to consider width and height for elderly disease. living product should construct with appropriate weight of grip, lighting system also must be constructive with elderly sight and safety. Second, bathroom have to be suggested by elderly safety, because it is most dangerous place to elderly population because they have frequent dizzy. Third, the living room which spends the most time does approach of space and space easily. Hearing and loses time and is made to throw away and the system equipment must be prepared
