Dataset on baseline performance and sensitivity analysis of a prefabricated house in six climate zones in Australia
Description
This dataset includes the results of baseline performance evaluation and sensitivity analysis of a prefabricated house in six climate zones in Australia. The performance parameters investigated are monthly heating loads, monthly cooling loads, monthly thermal discomfort hours (TDHs) and monthly daylight unsatisfied hours (DUHs) of the living room, study room, and rumpus room in the prefabricated house.
Files
Steps to reproduce
Baseline performance: 1. Obtain latitude and longitude, and generate hourly weather data file in TMY2 format <*.tm2> for each location by using Meteonorm. 2. Develop a building model <*.b18> in TRNBuild and TRNSYS 18 project file <*.tpf> in Simulation Studio. 3. Generate deck file <*.dck> and run simulation in Simulation Studio. 4. Obtain baseline performance parameters (heating load, cooling load, TDH, and DUH) for 8760 h. 5. Aggregate hourly to monthly outputs. Sensitivity analysis: 1. Generate input sample data for sensitivity analysis using Latin Hypercube sampling method in SimLab. 2. Run parametric analysis with jEPlus and using the generated input sample and the deck file <*.dck>. 3. Obtain SRRCs for the performance parameters by running sensitivity analysis in SimLab using the results of parametric runs.
