초록

본 연구는 유아의 창의적 성향의 놀이 행동 평가 도구를 개발하고자 하며, 개발된 놀이 행동 평가 도구의 구성요인을 탐색하고 적절성을 알아보기 위해 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 한다. 연구대상은 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 572명과 그들의 담임교사 23명이었다. 수집된 자료는 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관계수, Cronbach's α계수를 구하여 본 연구에서 구성한 놀이평가도구의 구성요인, 타당도 그리고 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 창의적 성향의 놀이 평가 도구는 내재적 동기-상상력, 민감성-도전성, 지속성, 몰입, 다양한 흥미-호기심, 독립성-주도성의 5개 하위요인으로 구성되었음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 유아의 창의적 성향의 놀이 행동 평가 도구와 창의성 및 놀이성 간의 상관분석에서 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 그리고 척도의 신뢰도 검증을 위해 Cronbach’s α 산출결과, 전체 평가도구에 대한 신뢰도는 .85였으며, 각 하위 구성요인의 내적일치도는 .73～.83까지로 나타났으며, 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 .88인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연령별 성별발달 특성을 분석한 결과, 연령의 증가와 함께 발달하는 것으로 나타났으나, 성별에 따른 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. ‘창의적 성향의 놀이 행동 평가 도구’는 유아의 창의적 성향의 놀이 행동 특성을 평가할 수 있는 타당하고 신뢰도가 높은 도구로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 유아교육의 실제에서 유아의 창의적 성향계발을 포함한 교육적인 놀이를 평가하는 도구로 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
