본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 결혼만족도와 부부갈등, 영아의 정서성 기질 및 어머니의 우울이 어머니의 양육스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보는 데 있다. 연구대상은 월령이 24개월 이상 31개월 이하인 영아 1,802명과 해당 영아의 어머니이다. 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널(2010) 3차년도 자료를 사용하여 경로분석을 하였으며 AMOS 18.0으로 통계처리 하였는데 최종모델의 적합도는 RMR=.004, GFI=.999, AGFI=.989, NFI=.998, IFI=.999, TLI=.988, CFI=.999, RMSEA=.035로 매우 우수하였다.
연구결과 어머니의 결혼만족도와 부부갈등, 그리고 영아의 정서성 기질이 어머니의 우울을 매개로 어머니의 양육스트레스에 직․간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 어머니의 우울은 어머니의 결혼만족도, 부부갈등 및 영아의 정서성 기질이 양육스트레스에 영향을 미치는 데 있어 매개변수로서의 역할을 충분히 수행하고 있었으며 직접적으로도 어머니의 양육스트레스에 가장 강력한 영향력을 나타내는 변인이었다.
This study aims to examine the effects of mother’s marital satisfaction, couple conflict, infant emotional temperament and mother’s depression on mother’s parenting stress. The subjects of this study were 1,802 children aged from 24 to 31 months and their mothers. The data were from the third year research results by the Korean Children’s Panel Survey(2010). A path analysis was implemented by AMOS 18.0. Results reveal that the fitness of the model is excellent. Mother’s marital satisfaction, couple conflicts, and the infant emotional temperament influenced mother’s parenting stress directly and indirectly influenced it as well via the mediation of mother’s depression. In particular, while mother’s depression had a direct effect on parenting stress, it also was a mediation variable for the effects of marital satisfaction, couple conflict and infant emotional temperament on parenting stress, thus rendering it the strongest influence on parenting stress.
