본 연구는 장애유아 통합교육장면에서 교수방법으로 논의되는 협력교수를 직접 적용하고 있는 일반유아교사와 특수유아교사들에게 협력교수 경험과 조망을 통하여 협력교수에 필요한 협력교수의 수행요소와 전제 조건을 알아보기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위하여 장애유아 완전통합교육 장면에서 최초로 협력교수를 시작하여 9년간 실시해온 학교의 일반유아교사와 특수유아교사 7명을 선정하여 심층면담을 통해 질적연구를 실시하였다. 협력교수의 수행요소는 : (1) 철학과 신념에 대한 토론: 철학과 신념, 동등성 확인, 협력교수의 이점과 목표 확인; (2), 역할과 책임의 한계 설정: 협력교수 유형, 역할과 기대 및 책임; (3) 의사소통 기술 공유: 아동문제 해결과 관련된 의사소통, 교수 전반에 관한 의사소통; (4) 문제해결 방법의 공유: 아동의 문제행동 대처, 교사 간 갈등 해결; (5) 시간확보 및 관리 전략의 공유: 협력교수 계획, 아동 평가, 수업 평가; (6) 공동 협의에 의한 교수계획: 개별 아동의 목표 확인, 교수내용 및 목표 확인, 교수내용과 방법 및 환경의 수정이었다. 또한 협력교수의 수행요소들을 수행하기 이전의 전제 조건은 협력교수의 자원 및 교사간 상호지명이 가능한 학교의 행정적 지원이 준비된 협력교수 상황에서 교사간의 신뢰형성이 중요하다고 제안하였다. 제안된 협력교수의 수행요소와 전제는 협력교사들, 협력교수를 실시하려는 행정가, 교사 양성과정의 적용 및 협력교사 관계 개발에 기여할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze co-teaching components and premise in inclusive early childhood education settings for young children with disabilities. This study was designed to analyze the current practice of co-teaching in inclusive education in Korea. Based on the results of literature review and in-depth interview of co-teachers related to components and premise of co-teaching, this study clarified the premise and components of co-teaching, and discussed the premise required for voluntary spontaneity, administrators support co-teaching, open-minded respect and trust between general and special education teachers. additionally, this study discussed the important components required for discussion on difference of philosophical basis, shared communication, shared problem solving, identified roles and responsibilities, effort to reserve and create time for co-teaching.
