본 연구의 목적은 결혼이주여성의 인구사회학적 특성, 문화적응, 심리적, 사회적 특성 요인이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 전라북도 지역에 거주하는 결혼이주여성을 편의표집방법으로 선정하였다. 조사 대상자들은 전라북도에 소재한 다문화가정지원센터, 여성문화회관, 사회복지기관 등을 통하여 모집하였다. 자료는 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자기기입식 방법으로 수집하였다. 배부된 설문지는 총 350부이고 회수된 323부 중 설문응답이 미비한 11부를 제외한 312부의 설문지를 본 연구의 분석에 사용하였다. 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실행한 결과, 본인연령, 본인직업 유무, 본인종교 유무, 문화적응 스트레스, 자아존중감, 우울, 남편폭력, 친목모임 개수, 가족․친척 지지가 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 남편연령, 결혼기간, 남편학력, 한국어 능력, 전문가 지지는 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 결혼이주여성들의 결혼만족도 향상을 위한 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to examine how acculturative, psychological, and social characteristics influenced marital satisfaction in married immigrant women residing in Jeonbuk area. Data were collected from various non-profit agencies for married immigrant women in Jeonbuk area. A structured self-administered questionnaire was used. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, and 323 of them were returned. Eleven questionnaires were excluded from the study because of the unreliable responses, and the final data included 312. The hierarchical multiple regression analyses revealed that the respondent’s age, job status, religion, acculturation stress, self-esteem, depression, husband violence, number(s) of participating social activities, family․relative support were associated with marital satisfaction in the respondents. Based on the study finding, implications for practice to improve marital satisfaction among married immigrant women were discussed.
