THE BOUNDING OF INSTABILITIES OF THE PIC DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS
A study was made of the effect of a nonlinearity on the stability properties of a simplified version of the PIC difference equations. An equilibrium amplitude of the fluctuations, resulting from the instability, was determined as a function of the parameters of the method. (auth)
