This research examines the question of the so-called territorial
power-sharing rulers in Serbia during the reign of the Byzantine emperor
Manuel I Komnenos (1143-1180) based on the interpretations and
contextualisation of original data and of terms with the connotation of ruler
referring to Stefan Nemanja and his relatives.
