The primary epithelial ovarian cancer is in the first place as a cause of lethal outcome from gynecological malignant diseases; however, approximately 10% of all ovarian tumors are metastatic from extraovarian malignancies. The primary malignant melanoma of the ovaries is very rare but like metastatic disease it affects gonads in almost 20%. We present a case of metastatic malignant melanoma which was accepted for primary ovarian cancer performed with radical surgery. The case we report can be considered as a therapeutic mistake.
