초록

본 연구에서는 국내외 선행문헌에서 수학 성취도의 예측변인으로 제안된 변인을 반영하여 조기수학 검사를 개발하고, 개발된 조기 수학 검사의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. 국내외 이론적 근거 및 예비 검사를 통해 조기 수학 검사를 개발하여, 만 5~7세 아동 289명을 대상으로 표준화 검사를 실시하였다. 본 조기 수학 검사는 수식별, 수의미, 수량변별, 빈칸에 알맞은 수 넣기, 간단덧셈, 간단뺄셈, 작동기억, 단기기억 등 8개 소검사로 구성하였다. 본 조기 수학 검사의 신뢰도를문항내적합치도와 측정의 표준오차를 통해 확인한 결과, 문항내적합치도는 높게 나타났으며, 측정의 표준오차는 낮게 나타났다. 본 조기 조기 검사의 타당도는 내용타당도, 구인타당도, 공인타당도를 통해 확인한 결과, 타당도가 양호한 것으로 평가되었다. 특히, 5세 아동의 경우 수량변별과 수의미가, 6~7세 아동의 경우 수량변별과 간단뺄셈이 신뢰도와 타당도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 조기 수학 검사는 표준화된 검사로서 수학 위험군 아동을 조기에 선별하는데 활용될 것으로 기대된다. 끝으로, 본 연구 결과의 요약, 연구 결과의 제한점 및 향후 연구에 관한 제언이 논의되었다.
