Mechanics of Solids Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

The paper presents experimental data showing that fatigue loading is accompanied by redistribution of the dissolved hydrogen concentration in the region of fatigue damage accumulation. Amodel description of this process as the manifestation of parametric instability of a two-continuum medium is given.
