Abstract

This article describes methods of experimental obtainment of mitotic and meiotic autopolyploidy in grapes. The results of cytological, histological, anatomical and biomorphological studies of induced autotetraploids are presented. The genetic peculiarities and parameters of the components of generative organs, together with quantitative and qualitative genomic alterations, were studied. A comparative quantitative analysis of changes in the content of chloroplast and mitochondrial DNA and RNA and their ratio was conducted in somatic cells of both diploids and tetraploids.
